New Smyrna 3/1/18

We are headed to New Smyrna and still trying to get
a good shot of a dolphin!!!
 Damage from last hurricane
 "Whispering Palms"
Nice waterfront
 I love these shots!
 Roseate Spoonbills
The roseate spoonbill spends a lot of its time in shallow water feeding. It sweeps its open bill from side to side in the water to sift up food like small fish, shrimp, mollusks, snails and insects.

 These birds are so beautiful!
 This is Haulover Canal
It is one of my favorite places to travel through
There's lots of people fishing from the shore, dolphins,
and this year, many, many manatee!!!!

Look closely.  See the hump in the water....it's a
manatee!
Another manatee with lots of barnacles on it!
There are two manatees coming right in front of our boat, trampoline
area....
That particular one went right under the boat....
 Check out that tail!
This is the other one....(s)he just popped up to say hi!
We have probably seen 30 manatee coming through here today!
These guys are fishing and they have caught 3 fish approx. 30
lbs each!
We are in New Smyrna now and this cat looks amazing with the
teak floor and steps....there's a good chance I'm going to need to
do this!  It looks wonderful!

The squirrel wants to know if  you see him!?
Meet Jessie the Jack Russell
 Gordon, Pat and me
So cute....
 Bobo and Gordo!

Well we had the hook down at 2 p.m. and napped until 4:30 p.m.  Then we were off to visit with
Gordon.  It was a great visit.

We are leaving in the a.m. for St. Augustine!
