Melbourne to Fort Pierce 1/10/18

Happy Birthday Len!!
 Us leaving Melbourne this morning....
 The fog was just lifting
 I missed his head.....but.....
 I got him going deep.....
Check out the tail!  Gotta love the sports feature!
Still foggin'
In fact, getting worse....We ended up dropping anchor about 1000 feet away
from the channel and waited it out about an hour....there
were horns going off everywhere....no one could see....
 Fog is trying to clear....
We can see the tops of tree's and islands starting to come out....

There is a family traveling on this boat....can you see the
pink unicorn?!
 Remember this....
These are just scenery pictures coming up....
 Gotta love the scenery!

The ICW is littered with sunkenn boats!
 Hmmmmmm??
Storymaker has just dropped anchor and the storm hit....
Of course, after every storm is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
 Night shots
 The clouds are just beautiful!

 Our sun
setting!!!

It was a great day to travel.  The weather was warm and every once in a while the sun would peek out!

We made it to Fort Pierce just before the storm hit!  It didn't last long and it made for a nice sunset.

Jack and Shelley Franking made it to the Bahamas.  They left 2 days ago.  It sounds like it was a rough trip.  It took them 8 hours to get to Bimini the whole time in wind, rain, 8' seas....but all is good and they are there!  The should have pretty good crusin' from here on out, hopefully!

Tomorrow we are headed for Hope Sound.  We will probably stay there 2 days.  The weather is supposed to be pretty descent and I just want to veg on an island and take in the sun; oh, and see my boat at night from a distance.  I'm taking my tree down and leaving it there. We've had that thing since St. Augustine and it's still as fresh as it was when I bought it!  The guy I purchased it from told me a little trick to keep it fresher for a bit....he said to make a fresh cut on the bottom and then put it in a pan of warm water....it sucks up the water a lot faster and gets to all branches of the tree...I thought "what the heck, why not give it a shot" - I will do this every year from here on out!!
