Space X shuttle lifting off!
Shuttle going off last night! It's behind the cloud right now....
We thought it was separating here....
But that's not what happened.... :-(
Zuma spacecraft launched by SpaceX is lost after failing to enter stable orbit
The spacecraft, called Zuma, launched at 8 p.m. Sunday from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
But the spacecraft apparently did not separate as it was supposed to from the upper stage of the rocket and did not reach a stable orbit, according to a U.S. administration official and two sources who were briefed on the matter. The sources would not confirm what exactly the payload was, saying it was classified.
Sad....
We were coming through this bridge and this guy in a power
boat came through ahead of us...
There he is...causing havoc amongst all the cruisers coming towards us!
Since I can't download all the great pictures I have on my phone....
you get to see a lot of pelican shots...I was trying out our new camera...
oh, and by the way, do not buy a new camera for a special function
you are to use on the same night. It doesn't work! :-)
Got a lot of great shots with it !!
Well we saw the rocket launch last night and it was pretty amazing! We saw the 1st stage separate and start falling back to the ground! I sure hope I can figure out what is going on with my phone!
We did not go out yesterday once we got back to the boat. We were so cold and wet we decided to just stay here. We watched the Bills game. I'm sorry to say they lost. I saw a posting on Facebook today and a guy had on a Bills jersey, he had taken his TV outside, threw it in the snow, and then took a baseball bat to it.....his wife was crying in the background, and the next thing he does is takes off his shirt, throws it on the ground and tells his wife to shut-up as he walked back inside the house. He was definitely not a happy Bills fan!!!
This morning we got up and went and did the laundry. Bob got some more water, gas, and groceries. We are set for a couple of weeks now.
We left Titusville around noon today and dropped anchor around 4:30 in Melbourne, FL. There are going to be thunderstorms the next couple of days so we're not sure if we are leaving or not. We have to go 46 miles tomorrow, bypassing Vero, since they are doubling up on mooring balls; we are not comfortable with that....so we shall see how it goes.....
