Funny story....Bob purchased this about 15- 20 years ago and is
finally ready to use it (heehee)...we called Weems & Plath to make sure
we could use this dimmer on LED lights and they said they didn't sell
dimmers....she asked me to send them a picture to see what I was
talking about....we never heard back from them.....:-)

We have been anchored in Norfolk, VA for the last 6 days.  It's been dreary and quite rainy!  But!  We got lots of great things done on the boat!  Both engines are lit up like Christmas trees now, nary a drip will get past Bob now!

I have in-direct lighting throughout the boat now!  Bob has been wanting to do this since we purchased the boat! Yes, I love it!

We fixed out sliding glass door.  It came apart on the right side and has been like that for a couple of weeks....don't have to worry about it falling apart any longer!

John, from Richmond, VA drove up and visited with Bob for a couple of hours on Friday....that was very nice.  You see, the boys also did grocery shopping, one less thing I had to worry about!! Loved it!

Bob changed the oil, fuel filters, and that's when he found we were a quart low in the transmission fluid.  We contacted the people that worked on the boat and we are all pretty stumped as to what happened.  It appears as though the fluid is going out, but some how or another water is not getting in.  At their suggestion, we are just going to run it and keep an eye on it for now, until we can figure out what is going on, which makes for an unhappy time for Bob/us...since we have to check the transmission fluid constantly, and I can't have my starboard berth back now because of it!

I fixed my bicycle also!  A girl pushed it in the water which created lots of havoc on my bike.  It's quite rusty now; had lots of disgusting water in the handlebars (black oily substance) that went all over my boat when I picked it up to turn it upside down so I could change the two flat tires it got! But, she looks like new now, well kinda!

This past week we were able to replace both of our cars!  The red one died in June and a week before we left I managed to total out the Buick!  No injuries...just no more vehicles!  Some friends of ours found the exact same 1998 Buick LeSabre for us except it was white, and a 2003 Ford Focus to replace the red car.  It's like nothing ever happened!  We still get to come home to vehicles!!!

We are headed to Coinjock today.  The sun is supposed to come out finally!
