Titusville, FL 022318

 My new curtains!!
I'm sure I need to put a backing on these!

 Out with the old.....
My safety man always puts a 3rd line on the ball just in case one of the
other two break....he wanted to make sure I wouldn't have any issues while he
was gone.....hmmmm, guess he ran out of time!

Well today was a busy day.  I decided to make new curtains.....ugh!  They are a dark teak color and I'm not so sure I'm going to like them.  They may be a little too dark.  It's hard to tell with just 2 windows done.  I'll be working on these things for days.  I have to get them finished before Bob gets back and tells me "he hates them" and to just keep the old ones up!  Too late, I had to reuse the same tacking that held the old ones up. I didn't think to purchase more of it when I placed the order!

Luckily Bob wasn't here during my curtain making project.  You see, it takes a lot of power/amps to make these curtains.  I have to use a sewing machine, an iron, and a hot knife to make this work....you should see all the amps I'm a using!  It's OK Bob, I got this!

Today Bob left for MD.  He took my phone with him and boy am I missing it!  He needed to use Uber and of course his flip-phone doesn't have that feature so I gave in and let him use it.  I sure do miss it though.  Every so often he sends me a text and asks me to text someone for him and I tell him NO!  but I will call the person.  Even making phone calls is hard to do on this phone!

I basically took it easy today.  I did some cleaning in the bedrooms, the ceilings were starting to look a little hairy, so I went to town on them!  The rooms are much nicer now!  I hung all my blankets outside to freshen them up, and changed the sheets again for that nice crisp smell!  To bad Bob wasn't here to enjoy it!

I have taken a couple of pictures on Bob's phone, but of course, I'm not able to download them for some reason.....I can't wait to get my phone  back!

Titusville, FL 022118

Well we made it to Titusville today.  Bob is flying out of Orlando, FL to attend a MC conference in MD this weekend.

Today I did the laundry, he needed 1 pair of shorts to take with him....hmmmm not sure it was worth the trip but at least the clothes are clean!

While I was doing the laundry, Bob walked up to the drug store and dropped off our meds to be refilled, and he stopped at the grocery store.

We came back to the boat and just kind of up cleaned up a bit and had a nice quiet happy hour.

I didn't take any pictures today....

"The Wave"

Before we left this morning we went into Eau Galle (O Galley) to the Ace store.  We filled a propane tank and purchased a couple more SS threaded rod(s) for the gypsy. While bringing it up this morning, one of the links grabbed it and bent it backwards.  Bob was able to fix it enough for us to continue our journey for a bit longer!

We just dropped anchor in Cocoa Beach!  We'll be going into town later!

Our sunset tonight!

Shelly took this picture for us....I love it!

We said our sad goodbyes to the Franklin's this morning and then pulled anchor ourselves.  We stopped at the marina and filled up with fuel and water, thank goodness, because we were pretty darn low on water.

We made it too just south of Fort Pierce today.  We only did about 25 miles today but it felt good to be boating again.

Another beautiful day on the water!

This is the 1st "Annual" Gilberton Fest!!

 Jayne
 Jack

 Do you see it?
 How about now :-)
 Buds......

It was a good day today.  Bob ran out and got gas and water before everyone showed up for the breakfast invite he made the night before.  11:00 omelets !  11:45 into town.  We didn't want to miss out on the parade.

Now we need to keep in mind this was the 1st Annual so here are some statistics:  8 boats if you include the police and the guy with the umbrella, people dressed up....about 40.  They did have 2 bands, Slow Ride had someone in the band from Foghat, Bad Company included the original singer but rest of band was different.  Oh, and lets not forget, there was also small shops set up.  I bought a dress and a hat!  I win!
